Hola! Welcome to my personal blog, Chicquita Style.
I'm Erika Sanchez, the girl with the big dimples and curly hair. I'm lucky enough to call the beautiful "City by the Bay" San Francisco, CA home. I've grown up in the Bay Area all my life and love everything it has to offer. I have a simple soul filled with a sense of wanderlust and appreciation for all things creative. If you love good design, diy's and such - you'll be in good hands here.
I'm currently an editorial styling coordinator at Stitch Fix. I'm blessed to be able do what I am passionate about and continually grow with such an amazing support system and team!
As for my blog name it's dear to my heart and somewhat a nickname of mine. Growing up, my family always called me "Chiquita Banana. While "chiquita" in spanish means small, I'm not too sure why or even how the banana part started but it's stuck with me till this day. So, while brainstorming ideas for my blog and incorporating this sense of style and chic aesthetic it happened to just mix together perfectly. There you have it, Chicquita Style.
